Artemis Warrior Guide: Creating Your Own Content Strategist with AI
July 28, 2025

By Rachel Mackey
The Artemis Fund believes technology can create prosperity for all. With offices in New York, Texas, Massachusetts, and Nevada, Artemis leads seed rounds for companies creating resilient families, individuals, and businesses across the US.
When I was initially hired at The Artemis Fund, my primary role was to work with our investment team to create brand personas on Linkedin. Making yourself visible on social media is a challenge for so many reasons (am I cringe, what if no one likes my posts, I have nothing to say, no one wants to hear from me, etc).
Doing it for myself and three others with their own unique thoughts and personalities seemed bananas, but I did it! And there is a way to make it scalable, thanks to AI.
I get asked about how I do it (a lot). Like all the time! I realized I’ve been coming into conversations with others who want my insights and realizing I couldn’t articulate the how.
This writeup is helpful if you already know what to say, but you’re having trouble staying consistent. If you’re ready to scale, the following is a guide that will help you create your own mini content strategist.
A quick note before we dive in, I want to reiterate why your visibility on Linkedin matters. It creates credibility, opens up opportunities (jobs, leads, you name it), grows your network and your influence, and amplifies your mission and work.
With that out of the way, let’s talk about how to create a custom GPT.

Step 1: Build Your Custom GPT
Step 1: Build Your Custom GPT
First, make sure you have a pro subscription. Custom GPTs are available only to users on the ChatGPT Plus (Pro) plan.
Next, launch the GPT Builder. Open chat.openai.com. In the left-hand sidebar, click on “Explore GPTs”, in the top-right of the GPTs page, click “Create a GPT”, then click “Create” to open the GPT Builder.
Now it’s time to start customizing!
Here’s the blueprint I used:
- Name: Rachel Content
- Description: [Your role + company blurb]
- Instructions: You’ll need to break these down into 8 clear sections (see below)
- Model: Use GPT-4o for best writing quality
And couple of other things you’ll see when building your GPT:
- Conversation Starters: This function is designed to help you quickly ideate and generate high-quality post concepts without starting from scratch each time. It can help you save time and beat writer’s block.
- Knowledge: This is where you upload documents that the model can reference. For content, you’re giving it examples of your voice (previous Linkedin posts, blogs, etc). This can be one long document, or up to 20 individual documents.
Step 2: Use This Instruction Framework
Step 2: Use This Instruction Framework
Here’s a simplified view of the eight sections I used:
- Who You Are: Name, title, and core function
- What Your Company Does: A short, clear mission statement
- Messaging & Brand Positioning: What you want to say and how you want to sound
- The GPT’s Role: Your goals and how the GPT should support you
- Voice, Tone, and Style: Personality and language guide
- Formatting Rules: Specific do’s and don’ts (e.g., no hashtags, no em dashes)
- Content Types: What kinds of posts you need
- Sample Prompts: Example tasks to guide the GPT’s output
Step 3: Plug in a Prompt
Step 3: Plug in a Prompt
Here’s a condensed version of what I fed ChatGPT to build my strategist:
I need your help drafting instructions for a custom GPT for my brand persona and content creation. The instructions will have eight sections. I’ve outlined details below. Please organize them into a clear framework in third person…
(I’ve included the full prompt + GPT output at the end of this post if you want to copy/paste.)
Step 4: Refine It Further
Step 4: Refine It Further
After seeing the output, I asked GPT to improve its own instructions. It suggested:
- Adding editorial filters (“Would Rachel say this?”)
- Defining what makes a strong hook and CTA
- Providing clearer formatting and tone guidance
Those updates made a noticeable difference in the content quality.

Once you load the instructions, your strategist is live. From there, you can prompt it to:
- Draft LinkedIn posts based on interviews or notes
- Turn event takeaways into content
- Brainstorm hooks when you’re stuck
It’s not about replacing your voice. It’s about creating consistency, saving time, and amplifying what matters.
